Photographs in retail partner listings are often small, leaving the code line on the label as the only detail you can read clearly. We print specific shade numbers and weights directly on every jar to make each formula unmistakable. Knowing how to read these marks lets you check any listing across our catalog in seconds.

The name and the house on the label

Airspun is printed as one word across the front of the packaging. The name comes directly from our mill, where the loose powder is milled twice and spun with air to create a fine texture that sets and mattes the surface.

Coty appears on the jar as the house that has milled this American loose face powder since 1935. We maintain the original milling process, producing a loose powder that blurs shine and sets makeup without altering the surface.

Reading the printed shade codes

Shade numbers are printed on the label as specific numerical codes, starting with 070-24 for Translucent and 070-41 for Translucent Extra Coverage. These numbers identify the exact shade even when color reproduction in a photo is poor.

Other shades in our catalog carry their own markings: 070-11 designates Naturally Neutral, while 070-32 marks Honey Beige. Looking directly at the 070 code line ensures you know which shade is inside the jar before buying.

Weights that identify the two formulas

The 1935 classic talc formula is always printed with a net weight of 2.3 oz on the jar. This original loose powder spans 12 listings in our catalog and appears in single jars, pairs, two-shade duos and cases of 12.

A net weight of 1.2 oz marks our talc-free formula, which was introduced in 2022 and accounts for 11 listings. The difference in printed ounces allows you to identify the formula instantly on any retail partner shelf.
