The shades
Choosing among the four shades on our counter
A plain guide to Translucent, Translucent Extra Coverage, Naturally Neutral, and Honey Beige across both jar sizes in our catalog.
When you stand before the counter looking at loose powder, it is easy to wonder if a translucent shade will truly leave no trace behind. We mill 4 shades in total, and most people who come to us need only one. The choice comes down to whether you want to set what is already there or add a gentle tint to the surface.
Translucent and the classic finish
Translucent carries the code 070-24 on our jar. It is the powder most people mean when they speak of Airspun, designed to set foundation and matte the surface without depositing any pigment over your work.
We mill it twice so the grains sit light on the face. It blurs shine across the forehead and chin, leaving whatever color you placed underneath entirely unchanged from morning until you wash it away.
Translucent Extra Coverage for a heavier veil
Carrying code 070-41 on the label, Translucent Extra Coverage keeps the neutral tone of the original powder. It provides a denser layer on the surface for those who want a fuller veil over their base.
This formula settles flat against the face to blur shine and hold makeup firmly in place. It does not alter your shade, but it offers a more visible matte finish than the lighter milling of code 070-24.
Naturally Neutral for light warmth
Naturally Neutral is marked as 070-11 in our catalog. This jar holds a soft tint made for skin that reads warm ivory to light beige, adding a touch of balanced color as it sets your makeup.
If you prefer a loose powder that evens the surface rather than remaining entirely clear, this shade provides that gentle veil. It mattes shine while leaving a quiet layer of neutral warmth on top.
Honey Beige on our deepest shelf
Honey Beige bears the code 070-32 and stands as the deepest tone on our counter. We blend it with golden beige pigment to bring warmth to the surface while it sets and takes down shine.
Our catalog offers this shade in both the 2.3 oz classic jar and the 1.2 oz talc-free jar. It imparts a steady, warm cast that works alongside your base makeup rather than setting down colorless.
